Contracts for Construction of Northern Area Elementary School

Bids were received on September 28, 2006, for construction of Northern Area Elementary School. Attached are the tabulations of the ten single prime bids received. The construction budget for this project is $13,068,525. The board awarded a contract for site grading with Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, Inc., Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, in the amount of $940,535 on May 9, 2006.
