On April 23, GCS Principal of the Year Valerie Akins (center) of Aycock Middle threw the first pitch at the Grasshoppers game.

 

 

Greensboro Grasshopper players visited the Newcomers to talk about their experience of coming to a new country, and to get students ready for the baseball game.
