One Million Books is a GCS literacy campaign aimed at increasing the reading proficiency of students. It’s also a great way for businesses, community groups or individuals to help us tackle the challenge of reading one million books.

Here, you will find information on how you can get involved and exciting ideas on how to make reading fun for everyone!


Program Benefits

  • Promote healthy competition, while strengthening students’ reading skills and expanding their knowledge in all subjects
  • Teach students to set goals and practice important character traits such as perseverance and determination
  • Encourage community support through partnerships and volunteerism
