GCS Magnet Showcase - October 20, 2007

GCS is a national leader in providing specialized schools and instructional programs designed to meet the educational needs of a culturally diverse citizenship. The district recognizes that not all students thrive in a traditional school. To illustrate to parents and guardians the numerous educational options available, GCS is holding the first-ever Magnet Showcase.

Magnet school choices build on or stimulate educational interests, foster academic achievement and provide cultural and ethnic diversity. At the showcase, students and their parents and guardians will receive information about the various magnet themes and hopefully find the one that best fits their academic needs. All 17 magnet themes were represented.
