Middle School Day with the Greensboro Grasshoppers - April 23, 2008

America’s favorite pastime is sure to be a home run for Guilford County Schools’ (GCS’) sixth-grade students. These young fans caught a few foul balls, ate a hot dog and cheered on their hometown team

Kayli Sandlin, a student from Brown Summit Middle Center for Advanced Academics, will start off the day by singing the national anthem. The students will also see Valerie Akins, the GCS 2007 Principal of the Year from Aycock Middle, throw out the first pitch. Additionally, the students will enjoy watching their teachers participate in fun and exciting activities between the nine-inning contest.
